Joe Nelms is the author of the novels The Last Time I Died and Formerly Fingerman (both Simon & Schuster) and the plays Burning House (Best Play Finalist, 2020 Winterfest) and What Norman Saw.
He is the former Artistic Director and Executive Producer of the sketch comedy stage show/NBC series Live On Tape, as well as the co-writer of the film The Lost Episode and the cult classic Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th.
Joe also helped produce the dark comedy BFF (Best Play Finalist, 2019 Winterfest) and the film Between (Sundance).
He currently lives in what is left of New York City.
